Since 2006 when our Past President Rtn. Dr. R. P. Vidhawan started this project of curing Congenital Heart Disease which are mostly defects in the Anatomy of the heart like hole in the wall (Septum) between two chambers of heart, we have been able to cure 150 Children from the poorest of poor by providing free heart surgeries to them at the two best Hospitals in town, B. M. Birla Heart Research Centre and R. N. Tagore Institute of CardiacScience.

We have also received Matching Grant for this Project from Rotary International last year and have received generous support from members of the Club as well as people all around.

In this Rotary Year, we propose to carry out another 100 surgeries and we are happy to know, that our Rotary District 3291 have announced this Project as a District Project for Rotary Year 2009-10
